The design of the casket looks the same front and back so as to confuse any potential thief. Firstly, the extemely rare dice feature below the harsp must be turned in such a way as to free the harsp exposing the key hole. You might think that is it, if you do happen to be in possession of the key, but you'd be wrong and could spend hours trying to work out if you had the wrong key even though you can turn it. The last stage prior to releasing the lid is the other rare feature of opening the fake hinges on the front.
Finally opening the lid reveals the beautiful painted interior painted in a similar fashion to the ceilings of many early medieval French Chateaus. The paint may have been touched up in places, but again this is not surprizing.
