This unit is equipped with an Electronic "Z-Axis" X-Ray tube adjustment for Field of View (FOV), magnification and resolution. There is an internal RED laser pointer system to indicate the X-Ray beam path. A Rotating and Tilting servo driven Manipulator is also included. This unit rotates through -180 degrees to +180 degrees and tilts 30 degrees up/down. A fixed positioning holder is also included. The output of the Image Intensifier can be fed directly into the monitor, or fed into the computer to be saved. The Control Panel is straight forward and easy to operate. Controls include: Field of View = Increase / Decrease, Zoom = In / Out, Camera Aperture = Close / Open, Focus = In / Out, and Detector Gain = Increase / Decrease. The X-Ray Voltage and Current are independently continuously variable from 10 kV to 90 kV and 30 to 100 uAmps respectively. A laser printer is also included to print hard copies from the computer. The printer is installed on the pull-out shelf below the control panel. The original Faxitron Technical Manual and inspection / service records are included.
