Filmmaker/documentarian volunteers for global project

no pay

I am an awarded filmmaker based in NYC, reaching out to London to join me for an ambitious worldwide project.

Are you a filmmaker/videographer/photographer interested in finding and filming real strangers?

I've already started to film 1-2 minute videos in New York. They are documentary-style slices of life, where we listen in on real "scenes" among strangers. Because I first approach my subjects to get their permission and put mics on them, there is no invasion of privacy.

My big hope is to expand this to include scenes (and possibly photographs or other location-specific video content) from all over the world. And to plot them on a large map, allowing audiences to virtually eavesdrop on that specific location.

There is no compensation - we're looking for global partners whose passions align with ours and simply want to create/exhibit some work with us. I have a document that explains the style and procedure, but even if you can't fully follow it, there may still be options to contribute. So don't hesitate to reach out. Let's talk it through.

You will be credited: your name and any social media links you prefer will be in the video description. The videos will exist on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram TV, and the map site.

If interested, please respond and let me know if you have access to camera/audio gear, and when/where you could try filming.
