Pragmatic boyfriend arrangement to split the rent? (I am male and gay)
I have been thinking recently about the futility of most human relationships, most marriages end in divorce etc. lol! I became rather fatigued with dating -- it felt a bit like for the sake-of-it and going through the motions.
Thus, I thought why not attempt to find someone of pragmatic like-mind, that would be open to being boyfriends for the purpose of splitting the rent & fulfilling each others interpersonal needs!
A pragmatic premise, and I feel takes the pressure off of things -- so many pressures are sort of INVENTED by the fantasy expectations contemporary humans have around the idea of a relationship. If we know from the outset we're splitting rent and enjoying each other interpersonally and as a byproduct in fact enjoy each others company, this sounds like a fabulous and fascinating experiment to me (and we'll save some money to gain greater financial freedom and pursue whatever individual dreams we may have which require money), akin to what was done in many previous historical eras for the procurement of property etc.
I am a 32 year old artist, writer, musician, performer. I am slim and philosophical. Into vinyls right now. . . .
Someone around my age would be preferable but am open to a little difference.
